DCAS 2023 Student Poster Competition

Venue: The Student Poster Competition will be held in the Hallway near K Wing

This poster competition is dedicated to graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research work to the CAS community. The presenter of this poster must be a graduate/undergraduate student.

One can present their consolidated thesis work, research project, capstone project, and any research articles of their own on a poster. The content must contain technical and research works only. The poster will be evaluated, and awards will be given to the top three posters in graduate and undergraduate category.

If both graduate and undergraduate students worked together on the project/research and they are all co-authors, then the team will compete in the graduate category.


*Key Dates

  • One-page proposal due: Deadline Extended to February 28, 2023
  • Notification of acceptance: March 15, 2023
  • Final competition day: April 15, 2023

  • Submit a one-page proposal here before Feb 28, 2023.https://edas.info/N30299
  • The proposal should include a project Title, the Problem, Solution(s), and Outcomes. The first author must be a student who has done majority of the work. The first author must consent to attend the competition in person.

  • Poster Dimension
  • Each poster should be of dimension 3′ x 4′ (W x H)

  • Poster Presentation Guidelines
  • 1.The poster should contain research and development works.
    2.Poster must be presented by a graduate or undergraduate student.
    3.Each participant can present only one poster.

    1st Place: $300
    2nd Place: $200
    3rd Place: $100

    Undergraduate student category
    1st Place: $300
    2nd Place: $200
    3rd Place: $100
